LINDSEY BLAIR was named the Best Jazz Musician of 2011 by the Miami New Time Magazine. Lindsey was also an official guitarist for Sabado Gigante, Don Francisco’s reggaetonero Daddy Yankee. But it was Wes Montgomery that got him started on the guitar. Jazz is his passion. He studied the form at University of Miami for his Bachelor and Masters degrees. He has also toured with Maynard Ferguson, as well as played with Dizzy Gilespie. He has also worked for years with Gloria Estefan and Emilio Estefan, and he performed with the Miami Sound Machine at Super Bowl XLII. Lindsey is a guitarist that is driven by a passion for playing and being inspired by music rather that fortune and fame. He is most satisfied with his work when he has been able to break new musical ground, and /or spend some time with his favorite kind of people, musicians.

JOHN LOVELL picked up the trumpet at age 5 from his father who was a trumpet player and avid jazz fan. He played in school band programs from fourth grade through high school, then began playing with local jazz musicians around Indianapolis, including the former Stan Kenton drummer John Von Ohlen. He was then recruited to travel with The Tommy Dorsey Orchestra, directed by Buddy Morrow and followed that with a stint with The O’Jays. In 1979 John received a full scholarship to attend the University of Miami to play with their renowned Concert Jazz Band as a featured soloist and percussionist until 1983. Miami proved to be a great environment for further development, playing with such artists as Tony Bennett, Ben E. King, Bob James, Bobby Caldwell, Willie Chorino and Paquio De Rivera, among others. 1992 saw the start of a long relationship with Jimmy Buffett and the Coral Reefer Band, where he has toured and played on numerous recordings for the last 33 years. John has since performed or recorded with a unique roster of artists, including Brian Wilson, Lionel Richie, Alan Jackson, Kenny Chesney, Mac McAnally, Clint Black, George Strait, Jake Shiabukuro, Allen Toussaint, Snoop Dog, Pitbull, Zac Brown, Brandi Carlisle, Sheryl Crow, Jackson Brown, Jack Johnson, Boz Scaggs and The Eagles. He has been twice nominated for a Grammy for his work with Latin jazz percussionist Sammy Figueroa on his first two albums in 2006 and 2007. His most recent recordings include “Islands” with the 14 Jazz Orchestra and Jimmy Buffett’s last album, “Equal Strain on All Parts.” He continues tour with the Coral Reefer Band today as well as being on tour with the Doobie Brothers.
