JOSHUA POLION (just 21 years old) just graduated last week with his bachelor's degree from the prestigious Frost School of Music at the University of Miami. Joshua is a wonderful, young, up and coming Jazz musician. He plays with a passion and maturity well beyond his years. Next week Joshua is heading to Baltimore, Maryland where he was accepted to the Peabody Conservatory of Music to do his MASTER'S DEGREE! Congratulations Joshua! All The Best To. BEN SPARROW (originally from North Carolina) has been active on the South Florida music scene for more than a decade. Performance credits include the North Carolina Symphony, The Drifters, Under The Streetlamp and the Florida Wind Symphony Jazz Orchestra. He has also performed and/or recorded with Brazilian jazz artists Phill Fest, Nanny Assis, Isac Jamba and Gafieira Rio Miami. Ben was one of the founding members of the Delray Jazz Collective, dedicated to performing original compositions and fusing various styles. In addition, he lends his warm saxophone sound to Blues Equation, an organ quartet featuring Hammond artist Tom Regis. Ben’s music has led him to performances at the Palm Beach International Jazz Festival, Jazz Fest Pompano Beach, and Fiesta Sunset Jazz in the Dominican Republic. A passionate educator, Ben also teaches at Palm Beach State College and West Gate Elementary.
