ARGARITA is an internationally acclaimed flautist, vocalist, author, composer, and pedagogue, Argarita has performed in Italy, Poland, Barbados, Finland, Melbourne, Australia and most recently, Accra, Ghana. She holds a Bachelor of Music degree in Classical Flute Performance from Stetson University as well as the Master of Music degree in Jazz Studies from Indiana University Jacobs School of Music. In addition, Argarita earned the Doctor of Musical Arts degree in Studio & Vocal Jazz Performance from the University of Miami Frost School of Music. Argarita, is the Chair of the Department of Arts & Humanities, Assistant Professor of Music, and Director of the Ambassador Chorale at Florida Memorial University. Currently, she is working on original music for a new album as she has already released an original tune entitled “Take Me Away,” available on iTunes. Besides, Argarita has performed alongside jazz legends and R&B musicians such as James Spaulding, Cecil Bridgewater, George Benson, Najee, Raw Chew, Steve Miller, David Baker and she also opened for Diana Ross. JOHN COLLINGE (originally from New Haven, CT) graduated from New York City’s New School University in 2011 with a BFA in music performance (saxophone) and a BA in history. His teachers include Reggie Workman, Barry Harris, Jane Ira Bloom, Walt Weiskopf, George Cables, Tim Price, Rachel Z, Gil Goldstein and Jim Snidero. After college he worked in New York’s music industry for Boosey and Hawkes and the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers (ASCAP), eventually rising to the position of Senior Account Executive for the Broadcast Licensing department, while continuing his career as a musician performing throughout the New York metropolitan area. Marriage in 2018 brought John to his wife’s city of Belem, Brazil where his music career flourished. In Belem, he passed a public entrance exam to become a professor of saxophone at Belem’s renowned Carlos Gomes Conservatory and was selected to play alto saxophone in the state jazz orchestra, "Amazonia Jazz Band", performing regularly at Belem’s historic Teatro da Paz and touring Brazil and many parts of South America, sharing the stage with many famous Brazilian musicians. Having recently returned to the US with his family, John has settled down in South Florida where his day job is hiring musicians for the Royal Caribbean fleet and he has quickly become one of the region's first-call jazz saxophonists. DEREK SIMS is an in-demand trumpeter, pianist and educator, in the South Florida music scene. He also was an Adjunct Professor of Jazz Trumpet and the Jazz Band Director at Portland State University from 2013-2018. After these two stints Mr. Sims started PJAZZ (The Portland Jazz School), and coached jazz combos from 2018-2021. After moving to South Florida in 2022, Mr. Sims maintains a private studio of jazz improv students and is working as a jazz director at the Coral Springs Charter School, and a music coach at the Somerset Silver Palms Charter School.

Her high-energy vocal delivery, with deep, convincing emotion has been impacting audiences for many years. Wendy got her Master's degree in Jazz Performance from Florida International University and is a graduate of the University of Miami’s Studio Music and Jazz Vocal program. Wendy has won many awards including the Southern Bell/Pace “Jazz Artist of the Year” and a Miami New Times “best vocalist”. Leonard Pitts of The Miami Herald said, “when she sings, her voice an elegant melismatic instrument, evokes the standard emotions, yes, but deeper longings and muted desires.” She has toured the globe as a featured soloist both on her own as well with other artists, and has headlined festivals in The United States, Madrid, Spain and Russia. Wendy is also a highly sought after studio singer and has recorded for or performed with artists such as Shakira, Gloria Estefan, Jennifer Lopez, Christina Aguilera, Arturo Sandoval, Rita Moreno, Alejandro Sanz, Julio Iglesias, Enrique Iglesias, James Brown and countless others. FELIPE LAMOGLIA is a Grammy winning saxophonist, composer, and arranger. He started the studies of saxophone with the age of 9 at the city of Holguin, Cuba, also studying at the prestigious Superior Institute of Arts (ISA) in Havana. His big professional opportunity came at age of 18, being hired to play with NG La Banda one of the most acclaimed Cuban orchestras ever, funded by ex-integrants of Irakere. In 1992 traveling to Sao Paulo, Brazil, for a musical exchange program with the University of Sao Paulo, Felipe went to live in Brazil for seven years. Since he moved to The United States in 1999, he have been performing regularly with Grammy Award-winner Arturo Sandoval, participating in diverse albums and DVDs. Later in 2004 Felipe joined Mr Gonzalo Rubalcaba, recording an album Paseo wich was nominated to Grammy in 2005, also touring with the New Cuban Quartet. From this time Felipe have been performing in all mayor Jazz festivals in US and Europe, like JVC jazz fest, Playboy Jazz fest, Newport Jazz fest, Heineken Jazz fest, Red sea Jazz fest, New Orlens Jazz, Lincoln Center of arts, also performing in all mayor Jazz venues across US like the Blue Note NY, Iridium, Jazz standart, Birland( two times), Yoshi’s Okland, Blues Alley, Dizzy””s Coca Cola, sharing performances with greatest artists like Herbie Hancock, Michael Brecker, Wynton Marsalis, Eldar, Marcus Miller, Dafnis prieto, Nicolas Payton, Kenny Garret, Hiovanni Hidalgo, El Negro, Ignacio Berroa, Paquito De Rivera and many others. One of the most versatile and accomplished musicians on the scene today. He has toured with Ben E King, as well as performing with Phil Woods, Ira Sullivan, Victor Lewis, Roy Hargrove, Jon Secada and many, many others. LINDSEY BLAIR was named the Best Jazz Musician of 2011 by the Miami New Time Magazine. Lindsey was also an official guitarist for Sabado Gigante, Don Francisco’s reggaetonero Daddy Yankee. But it was Wes Montgomery that got him started on the guitar. Jazz is his passion. He studied the form at University of Miami for his Bachelor and Masters degrees. He has also toured with Maynard Ferguson, as well as played with Dizzy Gillespie. He has also worked for years with Gloria Estefan and Emilio Estefan, and he performed with the Miami Sound Machine at Super Bowl XLII. Lindsey is a guitarist that is driven by a passion for playing and being inspired by music rather that fortune and fame. He is most satisfied with his work when he has been able to break new musical ground, and /or spend some time with his favorite kind of people, musicians.

She is an accomplished jazz, Latin, and contemporary music artist recognized for her musical versatility who has impacted audiences and garnered respect and praise for her artistry, musicianship, and improvisational skills across genres. She holds a BM and MM degree in Studio Music & Jazz Vocal Performance from the University of Miami Frost School of Music, and throughout her time at UM, earned five Down Beat awards. Throughout the years, Vivian has performed and/or recorded background vocals with some of the top names in the music industry, including Juan Gabriel, José José, Cristian Castro, Jon Secada, Gloria Estefan, Dionne Warwick, Patti Austin, Dave Grusin, Bruce Hornsby, Carmen Bradford, Kevin Mahogany, Eliane Elias, and many more. She has toured internationally and performed on worldwide television specials and award shows like the Billboard Latin Music Awards and the Latin Songwriters Hall of Fame La Musa Awards, and has been a part of major and indie label studio sessions, music videos, voice overs, and productions. Aside from being a performing artist, Vivian is also an accomplished music educator. Over the years, she has taught voice, piano, and music theory thru her private studio and at Miami-Dade College, the University of Miami, and Miami-Dade County Public Schools, and has directed award-winning jazz, latin and contemporary ensembles. Vivian Ortega has been songwriting and producing in recent years and is working on original music for future release.
