ARGARITA is an internationally acclaimed flautist, vocalist, author, composer, and pedagogue, Argarita has performed in Italy, Poland, Barbados, Finland, Melbourne, Australia and most recently, Accra, Ghana. She holds a Bachelor of Music degree in Classical Flute Performance from Stetson University as well as the Master of Music degree in Jazz Studies from Indiana University Jacobs School of Music. In addition, Argarita earned the Doctor of Musical Arts degree in Studio & Vocal Jazz Performance from the University of Miami Frost School of Music. Argarita, is the Chair of the Department of Arts & Humanities, Assistant Professor of Music, and Director of the Ambassador Chorale at Florida Memorial University. Currently, she is working on original music for a new album as she has already released an original tune entitled “Take Me Away,” available on iTunes. Besides, Argarita has performed alongside jazz legends and R&B musicians such as James Spaulding, Cecil Bridgewater, George Benson, Najee, Raw Chew, Steve Miller, David Baker and she also opened for Diana Ross.
